pretty much everyone who will have access to this blog or even know about it will know me already, but i will do a bit of an introduction regardless. my name is lucius, i was born on november 26th, 2006 in charleston, west virginia, where i have thus far lived for all of my life. i'm an artist with creative aspirations in life, i would love to write a novel or illustrate a children's book one day. i am passionate about music and find much of my inspiration from my favorite musical artists, like jeff mangum, daniel johnston, elliot smith, kurt cobain, jackson c. frank and others. growing up as an undiagnosed autistic child wasn't easy, and i don't think i would have been able to survive if it weren't for music. i remember having a particularly difficult time during the fifth grade, where my social issues truly began to impact my shcool-life -- because it was at this point i became more self-aware of my issues. during this time i developed a very pessimistic outlook on life, one that i believe i still carry even to this day. i found that the music of the band AJJ -- Andrew Jackson Jihad -- helped me immensly during these years. the rawness and grit of the lyrics in these songs resonated with me very deeply, which sounds quite ridiculous since it isn't like i had very much life experience (or even now). But, it's how I felt.
